Our life is about to start in the Marche region of Italy so if you have been following our progress up until now, the fun part is about to begin.
We purchased our house in February 2007 and now have the next stage of our dream life to complete before we can lay back in the sun and enjoy what we have achieved, which means that you can now follow the restoration of our house on-line so if you have not been frightened off by our journey so far and still wish to follow in our footsteps by purchasing your own dream house in Italy, then the next step should be full of language barriers, mistakes and lots of fun along the way. My DIY skills are quite good, but with the help of our architect and I suppose with some trial and error and with some in-depth reading will end up with a wonderful house that lots of people can share with us during there holidays or by just watching over the Internet.

If you wish to contact us you can via the link at the bottom of the page, which most of you have done already due to the amount of emails we get or you may just like to keep returning to our web site and view the updates which will appear on the News & All Blogs pages. We will also contact you via e-mail as and when we can get Internet access, which includes updating this web site so please be patient and keep returning and checking your e-mail. If you have not signed up for our Adventure Update Email you can do so here, we are not selling anything or do we wish to annoy you with junk email so we have included a unsubscribe note at the bottom of all the updates so you can stop the emails at any time. We do not pass on any information to any companies and the email address given by you will be deleted if you choose to unsubscribe. A new way of keeping up-to-date with our Italian Adventure
The Italian Adventure Blog Page (which is like a day to day diary) has been running for nearly 3 years now so you can also keep an eye on our progress from here as well as leaving your comments etc. To view the blog page click-on the link at the top of this page or from highlighted blog link text. On the offsite blog page you can register as a reader, which allows you to leave comments directly on the page, also gives you the opportunity to receive emails automatically when I have posted anything new, so you don't have to keep going to the blog page to see what we have been up to or you can just email us direct and we can add you to our update email service, which you can opt out of at any time, all the details are listed at the bottom of every email sent out. If you are looking for information on our site then you can use the search facility at the bottom of each web page which is supplied by Google.
Stage 4
We will be adding a new page shortly where we will post any pictures of our progress along with any interesting things we come across along the way and any building suppliers, plumbers, electricians etc, but will put a link in here when we are in Italy and got our bearings straight, so don't stop returning because you never know what you may miss. You can find out lots of information about us and various video slide shows, plus general information on contacts we have made before arriving and after, also if you have plenty of time on your hands and wish to find out all the things that have happened to us, accompanied by quite a few laughs along the way then have a read through our blog pages. You can find most of the links right here on our home page or if you wish to contact us about the site content or if you require more information we will endeavor to help you. We have also found lots of shops and contacts to help you if you are on your own adventure to Italy so just drop us an e-mail.

We would love to hear your thoughts on our new web site design (good or bad) and if you come across any broken links, missing photos etc we would be grateful if you could let us know (its a case of finding time to correct faults while working on the house). And we must also let you know that in the near future you will see lots of new additions so if you can find the time to pass on our story / link to our website to all your friends and family it would be much appreciated.
You may find that some of the layout and links on the site maybe under construction but this is normal for the time being as I will be adding new elements shortly.
