This website was created in April 2006. The purpose of this site is to enable anyone that is interested in what we are doing, can do so with ease. Our aim is to go to Italy (Le Marche) find a property, renovate and open for business. Once we have our guest accommodation ready, this site will change to one for business including holidays and information on relocating to Italy and a starting point for people relocating and wish to have a contact in Le Marche who would be impartial and informative with help that we can give you. Our adventure started for real in June 2006 when we traveled to the Marche Region in Italy for our search for our dream life and home. With help from various sources on the net (most are listed on this site) and estate agents during our stay in Le Marche and also the Italian Embassy in London while in the UK. After finding what we thought was the dream property for us, turned out to be caught up in red tape so we returned in November to continue our search and have once again found a property which we hope to purchase, with the help of Giovanni and Alison from estate agents Move2Marche who have been a great help to us during our entire search for our dream life and home, but other people have contributed also, so if you read through our website and blog pages you will see who they are!

We have now signed the first part of the contract with the owners of the property and surrounding land so all being well we should sign for the deeds to the property at the end of January.

January 2007 - February 2007

Once again we are about to take a trip to Le Marche, Italy to sign for the deeds to our dream house and life. This is now due on February 28th, to which we hope to put an end to our stagnant life and continue to make our dream begin.

March 2007 - August 2007

April 2007 is the real start to our new life as we make our way to our new home.

Work started in May 2007 and will probably take around a year to complete (running into year 2) as we are doing the work ourselves so you can follow our progress here on the Restoration page.
