Italian & English based Estate Agents

Move2Marche

I would like to thank Giovanni and Alison for all their assistance during our search for our dream home. They both went the extra mile to help us, when all other companies just done their job. Giovanni who has lived in the Le Marche region all of his life, and has a built-in map of the area, history and culture, he gave us detailed information on villages and towns, while driving through the wonderful countryside of Le Marche. While Giovanni speaks excellent English, his wife Alison who originally came from the UK, has spent a number of years in Italy and also has a good knowledge of the area, she also gave us details of various festivals held in villages as we past by. Alison also translates as she speaks Italian fluently. They both have extensive contacts within the area for survey's, building suppliers, banks and places to stay etc. so you can be assured that if you need help during your house purchase they will have an answer for you.

November 2006

What more can I say, once again Giovanni & Alison have come to our rescue with another property that we are hoping will kick-start our lives again and for-fill our dream life in Italy, they have again excelled themselves with help and advice you can read more on the blog pages. The house itself is a bit of a compromise in terms of what we originally set out to look for, but never the less will be Ideal for what we want from the property.

One more thing that I should mention is that Alison and Giovanni (move2marche) have regularly been at the La Dolce Vita show in London so gives an excellent opportunity to have a chat with them.

Even after our arrival in Italy in April 2007, Giovanni and Alison have carried on with there help and advice, even though they have no obligation to do so and for this we are most grateful as we have landed ourselves in some strange predicaments and these are far and beyond any estate agent criteria.

Lungacasa Estate Agents

This estate agent was not actually used by ourselves in the purchase of our property but have other services that we did use, such as survey of our house and architectural service for our plans. They have helped us with more than just there services, as they kindly pointed us in the right direction for information and connecting electric & phone to the house, plus with all the problems we are having with getting residency in Italy they have been their once again, which is over and above there estate agency obligations and if you read through our blog pages you will see that they are mention more than a few times (Ugo & Bianca).

So why not give their website a visit and make your own mind up about their services which include more than I have stated above. Ugo & Bianca have regularly been at the La Dolce Vita show in London so gives an excellent opportunity to have a chat with them.

Brian French Property

This was another Italian based estate agent we contacted, who also took us to see some great properties. They were helpful and answered our questions, but never seemed overly enthusiastic to help, as we never had any follow-up phone calls.

Le-Marche Property Sales

This estate agent was more than helpful via e-mail in the UK and were waiting to help, but before we had a chance to use their services we had found a house, so they maybe worth having a chat with.

November 2006

As you can read on the blog page we viewed some properties with Liliana & Michael who were very helpful, so yes they are definitely worth contacting. Their main area is Sarnano near the Sibillini Mountains as there office is situated in the east of the Marche Region in Sarnano, but do have properties nearer the coast as well. They took us to see some lovely properties, but as with searching for properties in the UK and I guess anywhere else in the world, certain properties eventually meet your criteria and of course your budget.

CasaTravella

Very helpful via e-mail while we were in the UK, but we once again never had the chance to contact them when we were in Italy, plus we had noticed that they had a number of clauses on their website that made us apprehensive about contacting them.

The Move Channel

This website is worth looking at although you have to register with them to get any property details ?

La Porta Verde

This is well worth a look, it is absolutely packed with information, but they are based in the nearby region of Umbria. We did contact them and they were very helpful and stated that they would help us in any way they could, plus if you sign-up with them they will send out Umbria/Italy information via e-mail once a month.

Picene Homes

We did contact this estate agent, but was very slow at responding to any e mails that we sent, so we decided to give them a miss, but who knows they may have their act together by now.

MagicMarche

Another estate agent we contacted to view properties was :-

http://www.magicmarche.co.uk

They contacted us by e-mail before we left saying they could help with our search, but after contacting them from Italy via phone to the UK and being told that we would be contacted by their Le Marche representative we sat waiting in anticipation. We were never contacted again, so presumed that they must have to many customers or that they are not interested in our custom or maybe its some other reason that they wish to keep to themselves!

November 2006

We have now had a viewing with Magicmarche (David Parish) and must state that they were very helpful with information on properties, building and construction, as well as Italian laws in general. We see some nice houses that fit what we were looking for so we would now recommend them based on our latest experience with them. One of the houses that we looked at was ideal, but may of stretched our budget a bit because of the amount of unknown costs for restoration. If your looking for properties in Italy. I would like to add that, as stated in our blog page, you should confirm your appointment before attending (not just this estate agent).
